چکیده
Summary It is reported that parents with intellectual disability are generally more likely to have depleted social networks and a lack of meaningful friendships. The aim this study explore parents’ descriptions the relationships in their reflections on support what makes valuable resource parenting. Semi-structured interviews were conducted 15 mothers 6 fathers. data analysed using content analysis theoretical perspectives relations capital. Findings Three different network types identified, including formal, informal, formal/informal relations. Different identified as well bonding, bridging linking capital, strong weak ties. A diversity ties together trustful seem be most important factors building capital for parents. Applications increases recognition how reflect supports findings highlight importance professional awareness existence reflected among can used improve work practice.
